1. tak boleh travel without permission. kena apply 1 week before
2. tak boleh amik loans
3. next time nak ambil loans susah
4. tak boleh beli rumah masionette
5. tak boleh ada kereta under your name
6. tak boleh spend more than 1K without permission of official asignee

tapi i think other than that, if you are ok with living a simple life, it should be bearable. at least you don't have creditors hounding you day and night.

i nak add sikit,as a bankruptcy,u tak leh purchase brg yg harganya more thn $500 u nak kene mintak officer asignee's approval dulu....then u tak leh ada more thn 1 bank acct...and apa aja yg u nak buat yg ada kene mengena dgn financial such as giro transaction ,banking issue..etc u nak kene get the O.A approval dulu..dan ada banyak lagi disadvantage yg u kene lalui sebagai bankruptcy...lecehkan... tickedoff

tapi kalau ni semua u tanggung gara2 kesilapan u sendiri its ok lah but for me ..i kene tanggung ni semua just becoz i jadi my husband punya guarantor, gara2 dia tak byr hutang i pun terbabit sama  verymad
even my debit card pun dah kene tarik n tak leh apply for phone banking...padahal i tak pernah ada credit record...n now even kalau i nak ambik apa2 installment pun dah tak leh...nak jual rumah pun susah  omg uglystupid2

I am not sure about singapore law, but normally in many other places, your bankruptcy record gets deleted after several years. Which means you don't get blacklisted permanently.

kalau tak silap, kan skrg beli rumah nak kene pakai bank loan,so kalau kita yg dah bergelar 'bankruptcy' memang dah kira blacklisted lah nak ambik apa2 loan dari bank...n OA need to be informed of all the selling transaction..

Thats part of the messed-up capitalist financial system. You need money to borrow money. The poor remains poor.

Thank goodness for people like Mohd Yunus (who won the Nobel Peace Prize) for his micro credit banking scheme (Grameen bank) to lend money to the poor. Not a perfect system of course, but at least it is a huge step towards community development to help poor people.

I think as long as you haven't used HDB loan twice, you can still use it. it's capped at 2 times.

but after you have been discharged, if you are in the green zone, you can be considered when taking up loans. bukan nye forever tak boleh. tapi i understand your frustrations ar.

salam,
we must hv the positive thinking and greatful to ALLAH even if we are muflis,

you can still continue working at yr place even if u r muflis. The purpose of making you a muflis is to 'curb down your spending and expenditure'.

Remember, your family plays an importany role eg. wife must not look down on husband whom is muflis. Tawakal to ALLAH as all this was wriiten in the our book at loh maffudz.
