I tak ada comment. But i also want to hear reviews about such phones.

I intend to get one for my hubby upcoming birthday (hopefully he is not reading lah). But considering between Blackberry Bold 9000 and Nokia E71.

I've checked out the price (without contract) for both as follows:

Blackberry Bold 9000 : S$1080
Nokia E71 : $580

Anyone use either phone can share feedback?

My hubby's primary usage are
- to be able to receive/response to work emails while on the move
- appointment/task organiser (with auto-reminder functions)
- can make calls
- surf the internet as & when required
- good (if not reasonable) camera function

Looking forward to hear feedback soon as i need to make my purchase by July.

i was told by many people.. the blackberry storm is not good (and doesnt come with WiFi).. Blackberry Bold 9000 is still better.

i read some reviews online for the Blackberry Storm.. it was said that it has lots of bugs issue.. I think thats the reason why the storm is selling for much lesser than the Bold although the storm is latest in their range.

Also, I think me and hubby have given up hope on touch-screen phone..

I am trying to find out what is the advantage point of a Blackberry Bold that the E71 lack? cos the price is almost half!
once i know the shortcomings then I will decided whether this shortcoming is critical or can live with or irrelevant to my hubby's usage for the phone.

The operations people in my company are provided with Blackberrry (from Curve to Bold). Rencently one of our colleague bought the E71.. she is still exploring it and try to make a comparison..

wah, your company so kind to provide blackberry. I believed Blacberry support Lotus Notes Email server too so that they can read and reply company emails while on the move.

Kind?Huh? Shock
its more of a torture! in fact, most of us do not wish to be given that blackberry..  cos it means : You are on stanby 24/7!

I am so glad that I'm not peg to the office blackberry.. though I'm peg to the office laptop & my home are set-up too!

E71 and E63 function is the same kan? according to the salesperson lah..

i pon nak blackberry, but got a gift of E63. Kalau function sama, E63 mudah nak connect Internet via WIFI and then ade apps like words, excel, pwpt, and notes and active notes reminder. i like this phone, its full package check emails, facebook, twitter..hehee...tapikan phone camera so-so je, 2Megapixel, though videos playback via Realplayer dah cmm PC.

i belum explore fully but just random surface of comparison from my fren's blackberry, abt the same, cuma i think blackberry supports more software kot...

I juz bought E71 w/o contract @ $530. So far so gd... Sis using E63. For me both abt the same features... lain nye sikit..

E71
-map features.. smth like tt la.. I tk pernah pakai pun...
-much more sleek & slim. Glossy cover... Fingerprint all over...
-Volume button on the side.
-Cam 3.2MP


E63
-the space button if u press & hold can be used as torchlight..
-Cam 2.0MP
-Audio output jack is standard 3.5mm.. Gd.. can use for MP3, lappie...

Neutral, where abt E63 keypad same tak as E71? i smp skrg nak tahu macam mana lah nak find the _ (underscore) button.

tgh surf wireless abis nak check email i ade _ den tak tahu mana sey...please help

Entah eh..the position of the keypad i tgk sama as E63.. But Sis said the 'feel' lain..  Roll Eyes
For the _ (underscore) I tekan Ctrl button located at the bottom right hand corner. Den gt the list of symbols.. As usual u search for the Underscore symbol. Tu jer cara yg i tau... hehehehehe...
