A unique fusion of rock music with traditional theatre, Singapore's first unplugged and full acoustic Malay rock concert will be a musical performance experience like no other. Rock Opera showcases the ability of traditional music elements to enhance rock music with dynamism, energy and fun.
All songs, re-arranged with new instrumentation, will feature a vocal ensemble comprising of a local choir and an a capella group from Indonesia to add the operatic element to the concert. With performances by rock legends of the Malay music industry, including Unwanted, Hanafi Warren, Lovehunters, Nash, Zoul, and a choir led by Ann Hussein, this will be a high-voltage concert like no other!
