What is an avatar?
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 10 KB.

How do i upload it then?
Click on the "Profile" link on top..scroll down. You should be able to see it...

You would then be  able to see the box on the left. Click "Forum Profile Information"



And..wala..you would be able to see it..Self explanatory..



How do i upload it from a remote image server?

Go to your remote image server such as www.imageshack.us
For more image hosting service, please go to this topic

Select "browse" to find an image that you want to upload.



Select an image, press OK/Open, and then press the "Host it!" button.



After you image has been up loaded, you will see a number of boxes with linking code for your uploaded image.
Select and copy "direct link to image"



Now go to "Forum Profile Information" and click on "I have my own picture."
Paste your copied link there.



Followed by click on "change profile" at the bottom of page.



Thats's it....

Tip: Saving it as a .gif file would save you quite a bit of size..

What are signatures?
Signatures are basically images or text that can describe you...signatures can also mean nothing at all..it is just there to make your post more visible.. Only one ticker or banner is allowed per user..

Signatures Limit...
Currently, it is set as..

MAXIMUM Dimension in Length x Height : 600 x 80
MAXIMUM Size in bytes : 20000 bytes
 
How do i upload it then?
Click at your "Profile" link..scroll down, and you will see the column as in the picture...



Inside the box, type in the url of your image in between the Img tag

Nevertheless, you can just add in any text that you want to.  
A good free hosting would be Photobucket.

gemukkecik14, if you have uploaded some where, just copy the url lepas tu add the 'img' tags je.

i'd suggest rather than having sizing of non proportionate rate..make it to 100 by 100 is better??

If we make it 100 x 100, won't it exceed the current width limit of 91 pix? Or nissa meant increasing the limits itself?

what's the ideal size for a pic signature?

Currently we dont have any limitations on an ideal signature size..but dun make it too big though... as it might slow down other forummer's loading time......

I'll have to see what you will come up with 1st, ya?
